Renewable
Energy Production
FREE technology can produce Renewable Energy at a lower cost than Energy produced using oil, coal or natural gas.
Greater than eighty percent of the cost of energy is the high cost of the fuel used to produce it. FREE uses locally available “opportunity fuels” such as MSW, wood waste and yard waste to produce a negative cost fuel. When energy is produced using a negative cost fuel we invert the economics of energy production and we can produce a zero cost or negative cost energy product. This is not possible using conventional combustion technology or other Renewable Energy technologies such as wind, solar or geo-thermal.
Ethanol and Biodiesel
Ethanol and Bio-diesel production costs have two main variables: thecost of the feedstock (corn, sugar cane, soybeans or palm oil) and Natural gas. Natural gas costs presently account for 35-45% of the expense of Ethanol production in America. Ethanol and Bio-diesel producers, including industry-leader Archer-Daniels-Midland (ADM) use Natural gas to cook their agricultural feedstocks. Natural gas prices have experienced as much as a 300% increase in cost over the past two years and Corn prices are at an all time high. Consequently, the only way to gain an advantage on the competition or to increase profits is to reduce and stabilize production cost. Thus, using our FREE Energy approach gives our Ethanol & Bio-diesel producers an immediate 35-45% improvement in net profitability.
FREE’s Technology enables Ethanol plants to be sited outside of the Corn Belt and closer to the end users. Thus, FREE, LLC can build smaller scale Ethanol facilities that are located adjacent to our Recycling and Energy production plants. Therefore, because of the low cost energy being utilized Ethanol can be produced for a lower unit-cost than the industry giants and offered back to the host county or city at sub-market prices.
